Started by the husband and wife team of Eric & Jennifer Sagalyn, Eat Creative combines nearly 20 years of marketing knowledge with 10 years of graphic design experience and a classically trained chef.

Being city dweller's we noticed an immediate need for restaurants and other food purveyors to get websites. Apparently, were not alone. According to the National Restaurant Association, 40% of your consumers try to research a restaurant online before patronizing it. So it may come as no surprise that the National Restaurant Association also reports that close to half of all food businesses have sites.

We find that number misleading. Many of those sites don't show up when googled, are so outdated that they no longer have current menus and products or, worse, they are poorly design and reflect badly on the business. In our estimation the number of restaurants and specialty food stores that have website that drive business to them is closer to 10%.

How could this be? In a time when a full page Yellow Page ad is eclipsing the $3500 mark PER MONTh (!), why would someone choose that over living, breathing website for a fraction of the cost? We're here to do something about that. We created Eat Creative to build websites and marketing collateral exclusively for the food industry that are as easy on the eyes as they are to maintain.
